The strong anti-wear agent is made from multiple nano components that form a permeable layer and chemical reaction film on metal friction surfaces, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact under boundary lubrication. In friction demonstrations it bears more than 21 weights with a nano oil film on the abrasive wheel. Functions include 5–10% fuel saving, 1–3× longer oil change periods, 8% power increase, over 50% emission reduction, 5–15 dB noise reduction and -30 °C cold start capability.
