The Timken OK load tester determines the maximum load (OK value) a lubricant can carry before the oil film ruptures, per ASTM D2782 for lubricating fluids and ASTM D2509 for lubricating greases. The polished stainless steel body resists oil and corrosion, while the dual digital displays keep test parameters clearly visible during loading. Weights are applied step by step through the long lever until scoring or lock-up occurs — the last passed load is the OK value, and higher is better.
